I’ve had this camera for a couple of years now and still really enjoy using it. It’s a lot smaller and lighter than my older Nikon, so I’m much more likely to have it with me when out & about.

A great, small lens.  With this on, I can still fit the camera in my jacket pocket which means I’m more likely to have the camera with me.

A very useful all round lens, with a good range and nice & sharp images. The general use lens that I have on my camera most of the time.

A really good wide angle lens with nice bokeh. I have taken some of what I think are my best photos with this lens.

Very secure and easy to use system to swap from a wrist strap to a full strap or tripod with a simple button press.

The Peak Design full strap for mirrorless cameras. Great for my 6500. Long enough to go across and very easy to swap over with the smaller wrist strap.

Useful tip : Connect one of the anchor links to the base plate and the camera then rests perfectly at your side and is ready when you bring it up to take a photo. I’ve found it to be far better than connecting it to either side of the camera.

A really useful piece of kit.

The standard Peak Design plate is for Arca tripod heads but I have a Manfrotto tripod so each time I wanted to use the Camera on a tripod I had to switch plates.

With this dual plate it works with the Peak Design kit and simply clicks into my Manfrotto tripod!

This clip attaches to your rucksack strap and then holds the camera & lens firmly in place until you need it. A one button press then releases it.

Far easier than using the neck strap when you have my rucksack on.

Compact tripod that comes with its own shoulder carry bag. I went for the aluminium one, which has been fine for me, but they also do a lighter Carbon Fibre version.

A clever device that can hold your camera or flash safely on uneven walls, branches, roots etc.  Quite small and light.

The latest in the Sony A7 R range.  The 61 megapixels will give a lot more flexibility in cropping images, even to the extent of getting a portrait image from a landscape, and the additional weather sealing and dual memory cards will be really useful features.
